Former PDP minister passes away

Former minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Sofi Ghulam Mohiuddin of Kupwara district passed away on Tuesday. He was 86.

Mohiuddin breathed his last at SK Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura around 9 am.

The deceased held the charge of Forest Ministry in Mufti Sayeed-led government in 2002.

Before joining politics, Mohiuddin served as the president of Handwara Traders Federation three times.
