Soon after his arrival, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the officers of the State Government where he reviewed the relief and rehabilitation process of flood hit victims undertaken by the State Government, official sources said.
Earlier, this afternoon Modi arrived on a day long visit to valley to assess the damages caused by recent floods and review the pace of relief and rehabilitation process.
At the Airport, the Prime Minister was received by Governor, N. N. Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Members of his council of Ministers besides senior officers of Civil, Military and Police.
