SRINAGAR: The Jammu-Srinagar Highway has been closed for vehicular traffic due to snowfall in Banihal and intermittent shooting stones and mud slide at Mehar, officials said.
“Snowing in nowgam banihal sector. Slippery road conditions. Avoid travel on the NH till clearance. Contact TCU for further updates,” SSP Traffic highway Mohita Sharma said in a tweet.
“Intermittent shooting stones and mud slide continue at Mehar. Avoid travelling on NH till clearance. Contact TCU for updates,” she said.
