For ‘waging war against India’, a South Kashmir youth sentenced to death by West Bengal court

A youth from South Kashmir’s Islamabad, Muzaffar Ahmad Rather has been sentenced to death by a fast track court in Bengal.

According to reports, Muzaffar is among the three alleged militants who have been found guilty of waging war against India and sentenced to death by a fast track court judge Vinay Kumar Pathak in Bongaon, 24 North Pargana district in Bengal.

The other two are Mohammas Younis and Abdullah of Karachi and Haripur (Pakistan). The trio were allegedly associated with LeT and had been caught after crossing Bangladesh India border on April 4, 2007. They were allegedly involved in some bomb blasts in Mumbai.
