Baramulla police recovered a body from a Nallah. Investigation to ascertain the cause of the death has been started.
“A body from a nallah near Children Park Baramulla. The body was later identified as Jamal din Sood son of Ghulam Din Sood resident of Dara Kujan Boniyar, Baramulla,” the police said in a statement on Tuesday.
Police has started investigation to ascertain the cause of the death under section 174 CrPC.
The statement added that a girl in a bid to commit suicide consumed some poisonous substance in Baramulla.
“A 17 years old girl (name with held) resident of Manzgam, Baramulla in a bid to end her life consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.”
