SRINAGAR
Two persons died while nine others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Thursday.
Mohammad Amir Khan son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Nambal who was injured in a road accident at Mattan, Islamabad on June 2, 2014, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura last evening.
Meanwhile, a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK01U/8404 and Auto load carrier bearing registration number JK13B/7961 collided near Begumbagh crossing Kakapora, in Pulwama, resulting in injuries to five persons. Among the injured persons, Haroon Bihari succumbed to his injuries while on way the hospital.
In other accident, a Tipper bearing registration number JK09/5069 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05C/2547 at Brartpora, Handwara resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and Pillion. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK02J-9701 turned turtle at Gulab Bagh, in Qazigund, resulting in injuries to 3 persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
