Langate town witnesses very low polling, clashes in Bandipora

Even the Kupwara district is leading in the poll percentage however, Langate town is witnessing almost poll boycott.


People of North Kashmir are voting for Baramulla Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday.


Kashmir Life correspondent reported from Langate town that only a few votes were polled till 10 am.


The Langate assembly segment is represented by fire brand Er Rashid who himself is in the polling fray.


Meanwhile, heavy stone-pelting was going on at Nowpora polling booth in Bandipora.


Reports said that youth took to streets and pelted stones at the polling booth. The clashes started army men allegedly beat people.
