Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was placed under house arrest on Tuesday, ahead of the anniversary of his father, late Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq.
Hurriyat (M) has called for “Eidgah Challo” on Wednesday, to commemorate the anniversary of late Mirwaiz.
Media advisor to Mirwaiz, Shahid-ul-Islam told Kashmir Life that Mirwaiz was put under house arrest early Tuesday.
