Former NC MLC compelled to leave polling station in Tangdar

Former MLC, A R Badana, was seen sitting inside a polling station at Tangdar, and he was compelled to leave on the directions of Returning officer only after a complaint of People’s Conference.


National Conference former MLC Badana, reached Nechuan polling station in Tangdar, and did not come out.


Sources said that Badana spent a long time inside the booth and when the returning officer intervened only then Badana left the polling booth.


They added that Returning officer had received a complaint from People’s Conference, after which the officer acted promptly.


When contacted People’s Conference Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone, he confirmed the incident and said, “Badana was not leaving the polling station which is against the norms so I made a complaint.”
