One militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter between forces and militants in Ganderbal district, reports said on Tuesday.
“Another militant is still believed to be holed up inside a residential house,” reports quoting officials said.
Earlier, army and SOG cordoned off Bhat Mohalla Hadoora area of the district following specific information about the presence militants.
As such the joint team of forces intensified the searches operation the militants hiding inside the house opened fire and engaged forces in a gun battle.
