Increased water level poses threat to Malpora village of Kupwara

A village Malpora in North Kashmir’s Kupwara is under as the water from nearby rivulet (khul) has entered the lawns of the few houses.

According to the residents of the area, the machines clearing snow on Gogusa road had dumped the snow in the rivulet Saturday evening which has increased the water level.

Talking to Kashmir Life Jamsheed Ahmad Mir said that the water level has increased in their lawn and is continuously increasing.

The Deputy Commissioner did not receive call from this office.

However locals said that the men from concerned police station are on way to the spot.
