Former Minister and National Conference MLC from Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo visited the Ishtyari village of Padder and offered condolence to the seven bereaved families who lost their members in tragic road accident on Wednesday.
Accompanied by senior party, Kichloo met the family members of all the seven deceased families and expressed his heartfelt condolences to them and assured all possible help to these family.
Kichloo gave Rs. 10000 cash assistance to each family out of Bashir Ahmed Kichloo Memorial Trust. He appealed government to grant Rs 5 lac compensation to next of kith and kins of each deceased family, beside a job to one of the family member.
Kichloo also met the Commanding Officer of GREF and show his resentment over the poor condition of Kishtwar – Padder and Gulabgard-Ishtyari road. He asked the GREF Officials to expedite the construction process by engaging more manpower so that people get respite from traveling on bad roads. He asked the GREF Officials to take good care of vulnerable portion of the two important role, beside requested them to install crash barriers at accident porn areas on 150 KM Kishtwar-Padder-Sansari road so that fatal accidents could be prevented in near future.
