Scenes of uproar and disruption were Monday witnessed inside the central hall of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly where Governor NN Vohra addressed the joint session of both the houses of state legislators.

As soon as Governor NN Vohra arrived inside assembly, all the legislators from opposition National Conference, Congress supported by others stood up and raised anti-government slogans.

The angry legislators tried to storm on the dice from where Governor Vohra was addressing. The protesting members condemned the killings of innocent persons during Kashmir uprising post the killing of Hizb Commander Burhan Wani on July 8 last.

The members shouted slogans, “PDP ka badlav kya , boli sai nahi goli sai”.

Independent Law maker Er Rasheed displayed the poster demanding holding of plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.

The members also demanded punishment to guilty persons involved in killing of people.

However the governor continued his address amid opposition protest and highlighted various achievements of the PDP-BJP government which was not audible amid massive uproar in the house.
