Attacked by unknown gunmen on an evening last week in South Kashmir’s Shopian, a shopkeeper succumbed to his injuries early last late night.
Identified as Khurshid Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Rehman, resident of Hefshirmal Zainapora, he was shot at by unidentified gunmen on 17 April.
He was taken to Islamabad district hospital wherefrom he was referred to SKIMS Soura.
After being under observation for couple of days, Lone died Tuesday late night.
