Authorities Announce Restrictions Around Counter-Insurgency Sites in Baramulla

According to the District Magistrate Baramulla, restrictions on the movement of people within the radius of 3 Kms from counter-insurgency operation sites have been imposed under the section 144 CrPC in the district.

In case of any exigency, the local population can seek the assistance of the district administration or the local police concerned, an official spokesperson said Saturday evening.

“These restrictions shall, however, not apply to the movement of ambulances, medical, para medical staff, government employees,” the spokesperson said.
