The curfew will continue to be in place in downtown on Friday following the killing of a youth on Wednesday evening in Nawa Kadal area.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Shah told GNS that curfew will continue in Old City to avoid any law and order problem. “The downtown will continue to be under curfew tomorrow,” he said.
Meanwhile, official sources said that the curfew-like restrictions will be imposed in volatile areas of North and South Kashmir to avoid any law and order problem.
