One person lost his life whereas 12 others were critically injured in two different road accidents in Chenab valley on Wednesday.
Reports reaching here said that first accident took place on Chamba-Bhaderwah road where a motor cycle rolled down about hundred feet from the road in which one person namely Amresh Kumar son of Sham Lal of Champal Bhalessa (temporary residing at Thathri) died.
Two persons were critically injured in the same accident, they have been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Jagdish and Anil Kumar, son of Mukesh Kumar, both residents of Thathri.
It is said that all the three persons were travelling on the same motor cycle. All the three were UG students. Police have registered a case for further investigation.
Second accident took place on Saroor-Drabshalla road near Naejja in which a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK02: 2152 rolled down about 50 feet from the road.
Ten persons were injured and have been shifted to Thathri hospital; all of them are out of danger, a doctor said.
