Jammu and Kashmir Police party came under attack in Pulwama from suspected militants in South Kashmir’s Pulwama on Thursday.
SP Pulwama, Muhammad Rayees Bhat, told Kashmir Life over phone, “our cops were on a routine search when they came under fire from militants in Malwari area of Pulwama.”
He added that there is injury or casualty.
The suspected militants are believed to have fled from the spot but police and other forces have launched intense search operations in the area.
