The family members of separatist activists lodged in Baramulla jail Monday alleged that “notorious criminal” elements assaulted them, saying they are facing “life threat”.

According to family members of the inmates, the notorious criminals attacked them inside the Baramulla district jail. “They were assaulted by these goons and were threatened by them,” the family members said.

Quoting inmates, they said that the separatist activists lodged in the Jail are facing constant life threat from these notorious elements. “These criminals should be immediately shifted from Baramulla jail,” the inmates demanded.
