As many as four Kashmiris have reportedly died and many more causalities are expected even as secrecy shrouds the number of locals killed at the deadly stampede in Mina claiming over a thousand Hajjis last week.
Though the officials at Hajj Committee had no word on the killings, unofficially, sources told Kashmir Life that death of four Kashmiris has been confirmed so far.
Abdul Wahid Malik of Sopore, Mehrajuddin Ganai from Chattabal, Srinagar, Abdul Salam Dar of Zainakot, HMT and Mukta Bano from Tral were trampled to death, sources said.
The families are reportedly desperate to hear a word or two about their slain kith but the silence on the part of government have accentuated their worries.
