At a time when Kashmir valley is facing internet facility ban, J&K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Sunday met Governor N N Vohra in Srinagar.
The duo discussed various issues pertaining to the state, reports said.
“Matters related to eradication of corruption and the challenges before the recently reconstituted State Accountability Commission were discussed in the meeting,” an official spokesperson was quoted as having said.
“The two also discussed several important issues, including – steps required towards the advancement of urban and rural democratic decentralization, and intensification of afforestation campaign, particularly along the Pahalgam axis.” “Other issues like upgradation of selected towns/cities to secure smart city standards and initiation of pilot projects for rationalizing financial management of higher education institutions were also discussed,” the spokesperson said.
