Twenty five persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley Tuesday.
“In Budgam, a Tata 407 passenger’s vehicle bearing registration number JK01B/2740 turned turtle at Machwa, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chadoora, resulting in injuries to six passengers. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment,” police said in a statement.
In Baramulla, a Matador bearing registration number Jk05/7101 and a bike (Pulsar) bearing registration number JK05C/2295 collided near B. Ed College Kitchhama, Sheeri, resulting in injuries to 17 passengers. All the injured were shifted to the District Hospital Baramulla for treatment.
In Handwara, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/3617 hit and injured a boy Riyaz Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Braripora, Handwara at Vodhpora in the jurisdiction of Police Post Chogal. The injured has been shifted to the hospital for the treatment.
In Awantipora, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Bhat resident of Mandoora, Tral at Sumo Stand Tral. The injured has been shifted to the hospital for treatment.
