A day after Chief Engineer Public Health engineering (PHE), Muzaffar Ahmad Lanker, resigned from his post after he was allegedly abused by senior National Conference Choudhary Ramzan the J&K Government on Friday has rejected the former’s resignation.
“I am directed to refer resignation letter no. PHE/PS/13492-97, dated 07-08-2014which has been examined at this end and that it has not been accepted,” reads a letter addressed to M A Lanker by Under Secretary, J&K Government, PHE/IF&C.
It further adds, “Therefore you are advised to continue to work as Chief Engineer, PHE department, Kashmir.”
