Shopian Gets Sadhbhana Centre: Army

A multi activity centre with library, computer lab and internet facility, created by Army under Sadhbhavana at Shopian was inaugurated by the Sector Commander, Rashtriya Rifles, a spokesman of the army said.


The spokesman said the centre was established following a popular demand by the local youth and will go a long way in enabling their learning and creative use of time. Inauguration was followed by a friendly cricket match. A large number of youths attended the inauguration of multi activity centre.


The youth interacted with Army officers during the event. While addressing the youth, the Commander advised youth to make the best out of this facility for career guidance, educating themselves on job opportunities and preparing for various competitive exams. A Cricket match was also organised at the Batpora Stadium. SP Shupiyan and other civil dignitaries also graced the occasion, the spokesman added.
