SRINAGAR: Army have arrested two minor boys in a Karnah village on Tuesday evening, reports appearing in media said. After initial investigations they have been handed over to the police.
The boys were identified as Wasalat Ahmed, 13, and Mohammad Iftikhar Ahmed,14. Students of eighth class, they are residents of Samari Jura village in PaK. They are both students of a private school. They told investigators that they were going home from the residence of their relatives when they lost track and landed into Karnah village.
Army has handed them over to the police. After holding the basic investigations, the police have said that the two children have crossed the LoC by mistake.
Crossing LoC by mistake is an old crisis that the areas straddling the LoC are facing for a long time. Once, a boy who was deaf and dumb was also arrested. It takes a long time in repatriating these people from either side.
