Six people injured in two road accidents

Srinagar  

Six persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Srinagar and Kulgam, Police in Kashmir said on Sunday.

A motorcycle bearing registration number JK22A-1457 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Amreena daughter of Bashir Ahmad Magray a resident of Watoo at Watoo, D.H.Pora in District Kulgam, police said in a statement.

“The motorcyclist Abid Ahmad resident of Matribugh Shopian was also injured in the incident. Both the injured were shifted to the hospital for the treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, an accident took place between a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK05B-9685 and Santro car bearing registration number JK09-3262 at Dargazpora, Chitergam in Srinagar, resulting in injuries to four persons boarding the Santro car. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard, the statement added.
