According to the Assistant Director (Enforcement), FCS&CA Department, Srinagar, the enforcement squad of the Department conducted market checking in various areas of the Srinagar City from April 1 to May 3, 2017.
During the marking checking, some 310 business establishments were inspected and a penal sum of 39,200 rupees was collected as fine from 90 erring shopkeepers for violations of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
