SRINAGAR: The al-Fateh veteran Dr Abdul Aala is no more. He has passed away in Muzaffarabad, reports reaching here said.
Dr Aala who was living in Muzaffarabad for a long time was admitted to the hospital early this week after his condition deteriorated.
A resident of Shopin, Dr Aala came in prominence with his association with al-Fateh group of militants in mid sixties. He was arrested many times.
During 1990s, Dr Aala migrated to Muzaffarabad where he lived the remaining part of his life. Reporst suggest he is being laid to rest in the afternoon as his funeral prayers are slated at 2:30 PM in the University College Ground Muzaffarabad.
