Srinagar: In response to call given by resistance leadership, shutdown is being observed across Kashmir.
The call was given against the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu & Kashmir.
According to reports reaching KL Newsroom, there is thin movement on the roads and shops and other business establishments are closed.
The call of shutdown was supported by UJC chief Syed Salahuddin who in his statement appealed to people of Kashmir to show resentment against Modi’s visit by observing a complete shutdown across Valley.
Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the 9.28km tunnel at around 3pm and after he will address a rally at Udhampur.
