From past few days, according to local news gatherer CNS thousands of devotees reached the Hazrtabal shrine and offered prayers besides having the glimpse of holy relic. Devotees also converged at some other shrines of Valley including Jenab Sahab Soura, Kailaspora, Pinjoora-Shopian, Khiram Sirhama and Kaba Marg.

The Government had kept in place an adequate number of State Road Transport Corporation buses for the to and fro movement of the devotees to Hazratbal as the areas around the shrine wore a festive look with many roadside vendors selling a whole lot of eatables and other items.

One way traffic was allowed today from Lal Chowk to Hazratbal and back. The vehicles going from Lal Chowk to Hazratbal had to move via Lal Bazar area. However, those moving from Hazratbal to Lal Chowk had to take the Saidakadal route.

Several government departments and NGO’s had organized special social service camps for devotees to Hazratbal shrine.
