Degree college students clash with police in Pulwama

The clashes, were reported from Pulwama town Wednesday, between the students of Government Degree College Pulwama and government forces.

Reportedly clashes started when police tried to stop students from marching towards the main town. “As the students marched outside the college, police used tear gas to chase them inside. The students retaliated by pelting stones, which triggered chaos in the town,” said an eyewitness.

Earlier the students, including girls, skipped their classes and staged protests inside their college.
