Former J&K Chief Ministers Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Omar Abdullah accompanied by other top party leaders visited the home of Plebiscite Front leader Sher Mohammad Bazdar to condole his death. They expressed their sympathies with the braved family members, his sons Zakir Hussain, Mushtaq Ahmed and Jaffar Hussain.
During their about 15 minutes stay with the family, both the former Chief Minister’s express their grief over the Nov 8,2016 death of Bazdar. He was 82 years.
The deceased remain in Bhaderwah jail for 9 months during plebiscite movement headed by late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. The deceased is the maternal uncle of Journalist Asif Naik.
Later both the leaders pays obeisance at the shrine of Hazrat Shah Mohammad Fareed-ud-Din Baghdadi and offered prays for the long lasting peace in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. They also prayed for the eternal peace of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and Bashir Ahmed Kichloo and for all people who scarified their lives for the sake of peace and tranquility in J&K.
