Jammu and Kashmir Liberation front chairperson Muhammad Yasin Malik was Tuesday detained in Shopian, a spokesperson of the party said.
Malik was arrested outside Jamia Masjid Shopian after offering Zuhr prayers there.
Earlier Malik visited pellet victim Insha Mushtaq at her Sedow home. Besides, he also visited the families of some of the slain youth who were killed in the current uprising.
