CM visits Sanat Ghar, says State-of-art Facility to Give Boost to Industry

Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah this afternoon visited Sanat-Ghar at Bemina near here constructed by SICOP over an area of 10.70 kanals at an estimated cost of Rs. 27.21 crores.


Minister of State for Industries and Home, Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo and Financial Commissioner, Industries and Commerce, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai were accompanying the Chief Minister.


Sanat-Ghar has been constructed to provide integrated services to the industry and the concept of its establishment is on the analogy of Udyog Bhawan Jammu.


The Sanat-Ghar will accommodate all Heads of Departments and Corporations under the Administrative Control of Industries and Commerce Department under one roof. The offices of Minister for Industries and Commerce and the Administrative Secretary will also be located in the Sanat-Ghar. The building is four floors besides ground floor with carpet area of 69225 sq. ft. Each floor is having 13845 sq. ft area. The building is having adequate space for parking of vehicles.
