Lt. Gen Subrata Saha, GOC, XV Corps, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan Thursday.
Lt. Gen. Saha briefed the Governor about the obtaining security scenario, the to-date restoration status of Badami Bagh Cantonment in the aftermath of the recent floods, conclusion of the time-bound operation to completely clear Tosaimaidan Ranges of any material which could cause any harm whatsoever and security issues relating to the forthcoming elections to the State Legislature.
The Governor complimented Gen. Saha for the very quick time within which the entire Tosaimaidan had been fully cleaned and cleared for being developed as an attractive tourist spot.
