60 Year Old Lady Dies in Accident

SRINAGAR


One person died while four others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, a police statement said on Thursday.


A Maruti 800 car bearing registration number JK01Q/0733 hit and injured a 60 years old lady Farzi wife of Habib-ul-lah Bhat resident of Ganisthan at Ganisthan Chowk, in Sumbal. The injured lady was shifted to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries on way to hospital.


Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/0858 hit and injured a boy Jahangir Ahmad Khan son of Anayat-ul-lah Khan resident of Payerpora at Payerpora, in Kupwara. He was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.


In another accident, three persons Bilal Ahmad Bhat resident of Turkapora, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Turkapora and Bilal Ahmad Najar resident of Badehar, Handwara got injured when their motorcycles meet with an accident at Chogal, in Handwara. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Handwara for treatment where from Bilal Ahmad Najar was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
