SRINAGAR: Skyview by Empyrean, situated in the Patnitop mountains over 22 acres, is set to present a significant cultural occasion: Jammu’s first art camp, titled ‘Sama-Vaya,’ planned from September 5th to 10th.
Led by esteemed art consultant and curator Anupa Mehta, the five-day Sama-Vaya art retreat promises to rejuvenate and inspire. Assisting her is crafts consultant Anuradha Chowdhury Sorabjee.
The event will feature a collective of six practitioners; comprising three contemporary artists and three seasoned master craftsmen.
These creative minds, namely Sarika Mehta, Bhairvee Modi, Kanchan Chander, Mohan Kumar Verma, Ramesh Hengadi, and Sanjay Chitara, will reside on the premium landscape.
Their artistic expressions will be shaped individually and collaboratively, reflecting their interpretations of Jammu’s essence, the surrounding environment, and the enchanting Skyview by Empyrean itself. A grand exhibition showcasing their works is slated for September 9th within the Skyview by Empyrean premises.
Embraced by the breathtaking panorama of the Pir Panjal range in Sangeet Valley-Patnitop (Jammu), Skyview by Empyrean offers an idyllic haven for artists and artisans alike.
