The night temperatures in parts of Kashmir valley remained below the freezing point on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Weather conditions are likely to remain dry with clear skies in Kashmir and Leh, officials in MeT department said.
The weathermen have forecasted a dry spell of weather till Saturday.
The minimum temperature in Srinagar dipped by minus 2 degrees Celsius.
Officials said that the drop in minimum temperature was due to the persistent clear night skies.
Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of Minus two degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature in Leh was recorded at minus four degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Pahalgam and Gulmarg was recorded minus 4.6 and minus 2.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
