Dr Rouf bags role model teacher award

Dr Rouf Hamza Boda, Lecturer at Government Higher Secondary School Doru, Shahabad in district Islamabad has been conferred with Global Role Model Teacher award for his contribution to J&K’s education sector.

The award was conferred on Dr Rouf by MVLA Trust Mumbia, an internationally acclaimed NGO working exclusively for the uplift of teaching community.

The award function was organised at India International Centre here, where selected teachers, lecturers and principals from across the country were awarded by their contribution in education sector.

Dr Rouf has been earlier conferred with Innovative Science Teacher award by J&K Council for Science and Technology.

Dr Rouf has completed his PhD from Department of Botany, University of Kashmir. He has published several national and internal papers and science articles.

He is working in the State’s Education Department since 2009. He also has also coordinated CM’s winter tutorials at Government Higher Secondary School Doru in which about 900 students got free coaching and was biggest such centre in J&K.
