Finally, Mirwaiz to lead Friday prayers in Jamia Masjid

Government on Friday lifted curbs from the residence of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

After the killing of popular militant commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani, Mirwaiz put under house detention sub-jail Cheshmashahi. However, he was later released and detained at his Nigeen residence.

Mirwaiz while talking to Kashmir Life said that the curbs on his residence have been lifted and he is proceeding towards Jamia Masjid to lead the congregational Friday prayers there.
