Government Medical College Srinagar has cancelled winter vacations of its students to “compensate the educational losses suffered by MBBS students during the uprising in Kashmir.
An order issued by the GMC principal Kaisar Ahmad reads, “To compensate the academic losses suffered by students due to the recent unrest in the Valley, the winter vacation for students of GMC, Srinagar, are hereby cancelled.”
