The EJAC president, Abdul Qayoom Wani.
Khawaja Ali Muhammad Dar, Father-in-law of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) president, Abdul Qayoom Wani on Friday passed away.
He breathed his last after brief illness at his home at Umarabad HMT.
Notably, Wani is languishing in Kupwara sub-jail from October 23.
According to family sources, Dar visited Kupwara sub-jail several times to meet Wani but the authorities didn’t allow him to meet Wani.
Meanwhile, EJAC district president Kupwara, Mir Fayaz expressed grief over the demise of Wani’s father-in-law and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Fayaz also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
