Abdullahs’ visit Banihal to mourn Molvi’s son

 

Banihal: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday visited the residence of Former Deputy Speaker and Former MLA Banihal, Molvi Abdul Rasheed to express solidarity with him on the demise of his young son who died in a tragic road accident on the national highway in which two more travellers lost their lives, a party spokesman said.

They were accompanied by senior Party leaders including NC General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Abdul Rahim Rather, NC Provincial President Devender Singh Rana, Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo, Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, Tanvir Sadiq and Sajjad Shaheen.

Dr Farooq and Omar Abdullah extended heartfelt condolence to Molvi Abdul Rasheed and said the party stood with him and his family in solidarity in their moment of inconsolable loss. Besides, they met party functionaries and workers at Banihal and exhorted them to work hard in being of selfless service to the common masses.
