SRINAGAR: An elderly woman lost her life after she was hit by a bike rider in Nadihal Ziyafat Sharief area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday morning.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that the accident took place at Nadihal Rafiabad after an unknown motorcyclist hit a lady who received injuries. She was shifted to GMC Baramulla where she succumbed to injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Fatha Begum wife of Mohammad Sultan War resident of Nadihal.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
