SRINAGAR: A CRPF trooper was accidentally hit in the foot during the ongoing operation in the Kokernag area of Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Scroll said that the injured trooper, who was an integral part of the Road Opening Party (ROP) engaged in the security operations, has been swiftly evacuated to the hospital for immediate medical attention.
Three army men, and a DySP of Jammu and Kashmir have been killed so far after police along with security forces on Wednesday launched a joint operation against the militants in the Gadole forest of the area.
