Cop attacked by suspected militants in Islamabad succumbs at SKIMS

Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (ASI), Abdul Rashid, a resident of Panzath, Qazigund who was fired upon by suspected militants in Islamabad early Monday succumbed to injuries, sources said.

Rashid was shot near Mahendi Kadel in the south Kashmir town and was referred to SKIMS Soura from the district hospital.

Rashid was posted at Police station Sadder Islamabad, they said.
