Amid cross-loc shelling, schools near LoC in Nowshera closed

Authorities here have closed some educational institutions located near the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir in view of border shelling.

he armies of India and Pakistan are exchanging heavy fire and shelling in Kalal area of Nowahera since today morning.

Reports said that some shells fired from across the border landed in civilian areas.

“As a precautionary measures, some educational institutions located near LoC in Kalal, Kalsian and  Bhawani have been closed for today,” said an official.
