Long queues seen in Udhampur-Doda constituency

Long queues are seen at polling booths of Udhampur-Doda parliamentary seat since Thursday morning in almost each and every assembly segment.


According to official data Udhampur district witnessed a brisk polling of 29.87% till 11 AM.


29.35 % of polling was reported in District Kathua till 11 AM while as in the Reasi, Reasi, Kishtwar and Ramban districts poll percentage was recorded as 30.12%, 22.98% , 27.35% and 27.68% respectively.


Reports said polling for 5-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency took off at 7 AM, with great enthusiasm among the voters.


As many as 13 candidates are in fray for 5-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency including union minister Ghulam nabi Azad.
