Police on Tuesday said that gamblers were arrested in Pattan area of the baramulla district and stake money was also recovered from them.
According to a statement Baramulla police raided and arrested 10 gamblers at a gambling site in Pattan. Police recovered Rs. 4150 stake money and vehicle from the gambling site.
The statement said that acting on information, Pattan Police raided a public place at Tantary Pora Palhallan and arrested gamblers on the spot. Apart from the stake money police seized a Scorpio bearing registration number JK05D/2054 from the gambling site.
