8 Police, 1 CRPF personnel injured in accidents

SRINAGAR


Eight police personnel and a CRPF man were injured in two separate road accidents, police said on Sunday.


Seven police personnel and a CRPF man were injured when a police vehicle bearing registration number JK05C-3924 on way from Sopore to Baramulla, they were travelling in, turned turtle at Chandsuma, in Baramulla. All the injured were shifted to District hospital, Baramulla for treatment.


Meanwhile, a Gypsy bearing registration number JK01K/9701 on way from Jammu to Srinagar was hit by a Truck bearing registration number JK18-0065 at Kachahkoot, in Awantipora resulting in injuries to the driver of the Gypsy. The injured was shifted to Bijbehara Hospital for treatment.


Meanwhile 10 structures damaged in fire in Safakadal area here, last evening.


Fire broke out at Pamposh colony Noorbagh, in Safakadal last evening. In the incident 9 wooden houses and a Paka house damaged completely. Fire was brought under control with the help of Fire tenders.
